CCA Involvement

2020-2023

When I started out in tertiary, I knew I wanted to venture into a dance CCA as I always had the yearning to dance. I never got an opportunity to, until I took a step of faith to audition for the CCA without prior dance background. Eventually, I was really thankful that I was able to pass the auditions and found myself growing so much as a person and a dancer in the club.

The initial year was tough, especially since COVID-19 was still prevalent at that point in time. My batch mates and I had to pull through every online training session, doing physical training and body conditioning every week over Zoom sessions. I have gotten to know many people and forged friendships in my time here, which added much holistic value to my life.

'FULLOUT! Next Gen' presented by Esplanade

Through intense trainings and preparations for online productions and performance items, like 'FULL OUT! Next Gen' presented by Esplanade, I have grown in my perseverance and excellence not only in dance but as a person.

Having to surround myself with people all the time has developed my self-confidence and communication skills along the way. My experience in NRA has definitely been rewarding, and I have received a lot from the club in terms of friendships and dance opportunities.
